其實evaluate 同discuss係同一個nature....可以交換用
只不過有d問題係叫你:
1. evaluate the effectiveness of a measure -->Evaluate dam constriction is an effective solution in preventing flooding.
2. evaluate which method is better (e.g. Soft or Hard strategies is better as means of coastal protection)
1.既答法就係: 先講佢既解決flooding,, 再講咩時候佢唔effective (例如strong magnitude of flood) 跟住再講fesibility (即係有咩physical or cultural conditions 要meet到先會做到) -->例如:dam 要好多cap and tech -->LDCs婪本都起唔到點control到flood? so ineffectives.. 有時間可加一段仔dam會點negatively affect envi (但唔好多因為唔係答緊題,,just show 你有relevant knowledge)
2. 就會係compare pros and cons of 2個方法 要先做categorization..(econ,social,environment.....)
但係其實都好睇佢d 字眼點問....不過你呢條題目一定唔洗other solution..因為叫你講dam work唔work,,冇問你有咩other better measures..
in short就係:: 好LS... 想你比marker 睇到,,就算你覺得佢係effective,sustainable,, 其實你都有衡量過另一邊既points 同埋你係會講埋weakness of 自己個stance -->show multi-persective 既thinking skill
